Italian painter, Giorgio de Chirico co-founded the Metaphysical painting movement alongside Carlo Carrà and Giorgio Morandi. After studying art in Athens and Florence, he moved to Germany in 1906 and enrolled at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, where he developed his distinctive style characterized by dreamlike landscapes and enigmatic subjects.
