1966-present

Born in France, Thierry Guetta, known as Mr. Brainwash, moved to Los Angeles at 15 and became fascinated with street art while filming artists like Space Invader, Shepard Fairey, and Banksy. He gained notoriety with his 2008 debut exhibit, Life is Beautiful, featured in Banksy's film Exit Through the Gift Shop. Known for his vibrant pop imagery and cultural icons, Mr. Brainwash has since completed numerous high-profile projects and currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
