NOTE: This sculpture is from the Clot Collection. The Clot Collection consists of 44 works that were created at Dali's swimming pool at Port Lligat in Spain.

What is so special about this sculpture offered here is that it's the first edition. 

 Dali modelled the wax for the sculptures during the summer when it was hot thus making the wax soft and malleable. When Dali finished, they were later cast in bronze by his friend Isidro Clot who ran the foundry Diejasa together with his son in law Adrian Campos.
